The favs!

Hello there guys. I’ve been planning this post for at least 5 years…. Or maybe 3 months… Just a long time… And finally got the motivation to write it. So here goes a brief list of my all time favorite music videos! (in alphabetical order). There are undoubtedly many other music videos that are fantastic, but I believe these ones are all masterpieces, and hence I put them in my awesome list. (I just hope all the videos are available in your country ;) )

Aphex Twin - Windowlicker

Directed by Chris Cunningham with a great 4 minutes intro, some hot bitches and great dancing! No, the fuck you didn’t talk about my hair!

Björk - Bachelorette

Directed by the God of music videos himself - Michel Gondry. Although most of Björk’s videos are great, this is definitely the best one! Enjoy!

Blur - Coffee & TV

Awww - the cutest thing in the world! :D At 2:36 it’s the best dancing scene in a music video of all times!

Chemical Brothers - Star Guitar

Again Gondry. It was really tough to pick a video of the Chemical Brothers, because pretty much every fucking video of theirs rocks big times! Each one is special in some way! But no other video can beat this one. Which is also the only Chemical Brothers video I can think of, in which you cannot see the two guys. Or at least I haven’s spotted them so far. If someone does - please do inform me! :) Oh - and if you think “Well that’s just the view from a train…” (which is what I thought the first time I saw it), watch it again!

Daft Punk - Da Funk

This time it’s Spike Jonez and the story of Charles. Again a tough decision between this one and Around the World.

Gnarls Barkley - Who’s Gonna Save My Soul

Beyond doubt, the best music video released in the past few years. Directed by Chris Milk. “Well maybe I can keep it for a little while, use if for small things, like when I had a really shitty day, or I need someone to talk to or if I need someone to move something really heavy…” - priceless!

Goldfrapp - Lovely Head

Again most Goldfrapp videos are somehow remarkable, but I personally love this one! It is obviously pretty low budget, it’s so confusing and you get a good impression of what a excentric person Alison is! You have to love it! Directed by Wolfgang Tillmans.

Kylie Minogue - Come Into My World

For all you Kylie fans out there :) It’s again Michel Gondry with one of the best single shot videos of all times (shot in Paris - yay).

The Maccabees - Toothpaste Kisses

Again a one shot clip. It’s probably not as good as the rest of the above mentioned, but I still like it :) If you listen close, at the end you can hear the people starting clapping, when the guy and the girl leave the pub (Water Rats pub in Kings Cross, London).

Roisin Murphy - Overpowered

Again somebody quite excentric, which is capture quite well by the video.

Royksøpp - Eple

Here were go again - almost all of Röyksopp’s videos are amazing, but for some reason, I chose this one. But be sure to check the rest as well (Only This Moment, What Else Is There, Remind me, etc) And OMG - I just watched Poor Leno - how awesome is that! Poor, poor Leno!
